Another chapter of Bleach is out, so let's talk about it.

I guess I was a week off.
After last week's conclusion, I figured that the flashbacks were over and done with for the time being. Instead, we got another chapter with some minor details added onto what we already know.
Three years after leaving with Bach, Haschwald is the captain of the Stern Ritter. He and Bazz-B now look like adults.
It turns out that their fight (in the present) has been a long time coming. Haschwald refused to fight previously on the grounds that any fight between Stern Ritter was punishable by death (dumb rule, but it's not my army).
All of Bazz-B's attacks are rendered ineffective by the damage dealt to him. Haschwald ends up with the victory while Bazz-B is left to die.
I suspect that he will live on somehow; after all, there are still two female Stern Ritter (Gisele and Liltotto) that can save him.
It was an interesting piece of the puzzle, but now it feels like the story will move back to the elite Stern Ritter taking on Ichigo and/or the Gotei 13.
Also, it will be too bad if the battle between the Stern Ritter and Gotei 13 of 1000 years ago isn't shown. I had been hoping for it, but not expecting it.
At any rate, next week should present us with something new.
