The newest Bleach chapter is out. It's not really scary or unpredictable, but let's talk about it anyway.

Is it ironic that once As Nodt broke out of the ice, a bunch of eyes surrounded he and Rukia?
No? Then I guess we didn't all see this coming.
Bad jokes aside, it seems that As Nodt's power is somewhat similar to that of 7th Espada Zomari LeRoux. The eyes have it. But instead of controlling a person's limbs (or the whole body via the head), As Nodt paralyzes the opponent with fear.
I almost thought that Rukia would pluck out her own eyes in order to escape the torment. But Kubo shows us later on that another intercession is in order.
I can't say that I'm surprised at the result, but the method used to get there was a bit jarring.
And so at the end of the chapter, we see Kuchiki Byakuya, Captain of the 6th Division return to remove As Nodt's head from his vile body. Or something to that effect. Either way, Byakuya will protect his "sister" and mete out some vengeance, arrogant dickhead style.
Or maybe As Nodt will finish the job this time.
Eh, who am I kidding?
