Another nutty Bleach chapter. Let's discuss!
Spoilers after the cut.
I never liked Giselle.
So once the scene shifted back to Seireitei for the first time in a month, I groaned aloud as I saw that Giselle was still alive. Honestly, what the hell was Kensei doing? He stabbed her right near the "heart" (assuming Stern Ritter have hearts, actually).
Not only that, but zombie Bambietta is still alive too! What the hell?!
Kubo picked a good title for once.
I think we all figured that Liltotto would still be alive. Last we saw, she was about to eat Pepe. And if you thought "yeah, she'll eat him and then complain about the taste"...bingo.
Where things start to go off the rails, of course, is the point at which Stern Ritter N Robert Accutrone shows his mug. Apparently, Mr. Accutrone has been around Bach ("His Majesty") for a lot longer than the girls. He starts raving about Bach and the Auswahlen. And then the light that Bach threw out at the beginning of the chapter starts the process of cannibalizing the remaining Stern Ritter in Seireitei. Liltotto and Giselle might have survived the first round of it, but Accutrone, Bazz-B, and NaNaNa certainly didn't.
The point of Auswahlen at this juncture? Reviving the "elite" Stern Ritter. So far, Askin Nakk le Varr, Lille Barro, and Gerard Valkyrie are back among the living. Will Pernida join them? And if Bach continues his Auswahlen until all the Stern Ritter in Seireitei have had their powers and lives taken, does that mean that Bach himself will be the beneficiary?
