Moving on from the endless nonsense...to other endless nonsense!
It's another Bleach chapter and I've got the lowdown after the cut.
This chapter taught me two things: one, Kubo is still wasting time, even though chapter 600 is right there on the edge of the horizon; two, the Royal Guard actually have some sort of purpose besides being goofy rip-offs of One Piece characters.
Although I might have just erred by using "goofy", since every character in One Piece is goofy as hell.
So the chapter starts with a rehash of the moment Ichigo & co. take off for Reioukyuu (the Soul King Palace). I believe this is the third time this has been shown? Or the second time the blast-off has been shown?
Either way, Ganju Shiba joins the party (not like this is Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy) with his map of Reioukyuu and the trip begins in earnest. There's some malarkey about putting a beatdown on Bach and forcing Ishida to come back with them, but that doesn't really matter. The object has been accomplished, the time (and pages) wasted.
So it moves on to the place of greatest interest, Reioukyuu. Sternritter W, annoying little shit Weizol, is still confounding Kirinji, Shutara, and Shutara's masked avengers. Instead of quitting like a punk, Shutara just uses some ingenuity (and it's about damn time, I say) and changes Weizol's robe for him. Since Shutara is the "Great Weave Guard", she is able to do this with great proficiency...and deadly results for Weizol.
Now, I doubt Weizol is dead, because that's not how Bleach works. And if you think it does, you really haven't been paying attention.
Also, let's not forget that two Sternritter have yet to be introduced. I think these two are in Reioukyuu with Bach, Haschwald, and Ishida. But alas, it's a wait-and-see proposition at this point, isn't it.
